The new season has started, allthough  still very cold a few “land rats” have had an introduction week. Strong winds and snow storms mixed with a few hours of sunshine, thats April! Fortunatly the harbours/marinas are generally not so far apart so there is no need to slog it out for hours and hours, short stay fees are not so common one can pop in, visit a cafe/restaurant etc and then continue sailing. Due to the non tidal waters of the Baltic, waiting for the tide to turn does not have to be considered, which makes it easier to meet pre set travell arangements.
